Having an assistant to help with your day-to-day office work is great, but it can also be expensive. Microsoft introduced Microsoft 365 Copilot some time ago, charging $30 per user per month when purchasing an annual subscription with upfront payment. Announced at Microsoft Ignite in San Francisco and starting December 1, 2025, Microsoft now offers a much more attractively priced subscription: Microsoft 365 Copilot Business.
Price
Microsoft 365 Copilot Business costs $21 per user per month when you purchase an annual subscription with upfront payment. If you choose monthly payment for the annual subscription, a 5% surcharge applies.
Features
According to Microsoft, the features of Microsoft 365 Copilot Business do not differ from those of Microsoft 365 Copilot. It provides the digital AI assistant for Office Apps and Copilot Chat for web-based, grounded, and business environment search.
Licensing Prerequisites
You may only assign a Microsoft 365 Copilot Business license to a user who is already licensed for Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Microsoft 365 Business Standard, or Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Additionally, there is a maximum of 300 licenses per customer tenant.
Introduction Promotion
From December 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026, Microsoft is offering various bundles with promotional prices. These promotional prices are not listed on their public website but are available upon request (if you are interested, please contact us).
